Self Massage Workshop March 1, 2020

Myofascial tissue is a type of thin, strong, fibrous connective tissue that extends throughout your body to provide support and protection to your muscles and bones.
Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. This technique feels good for any body, not just injury. Daily life and those in great shape who work out will also benefit from this restorative program.
Daily Workouts, Trauma, inflammation, and/or surgical procedures can create Myofascial restrictions that can produce tensile pressures of approximately 2,000 pounds per square inch on pain sensitive structures that do not show up in many of the standard tests (x-rays, myelograms, CAT scans, electromyography, etc.)
Learning self care is a simple way to strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, and postural and movement awareness.
Join me for a informative workshop on myofascial Self-Care for shoulders, neck, hips & feet at Sanctuary in the Metropole Marketplace on Catalina island March 1, 2020.
